Despite a slightly dubious reputation, modern dentures are comfortable to wear and designed to appear as natural as possible. Whether you have lost some of your teeth or all of them, you can immediately change the appearance of your smile for the better, as well as regain the ability to bite and chew properly, by getting fitted for dentures.

The first step is an examination of your gums and bone structure, which will allow your JHA dental surgeon to plan out the best course of treatment. An impression of your gums will be taken so that your dentures match the shape and structure of your mouth to maximise your comfort and give you a beautiful smile. If you’re only having partial dentures, an assessment of the shape and colour of your existing teeth will ensure a perfect match. Remember that if you’ve had teeth removed you will need to allow time for your gums to heal and shrink back to normal so you may end up having more than one set of dentures in your lifetime. Because of this we ask that you come back for check ups from time to time so that we can make any adjustments necessary to make sure your smile stays on top form.
