Dental Bridges

If you’ve lost one or two teeth but would rather not wear a denture, you may want to opt for a bridge instead. A bridge is typically made of porcelain bonded to gold and is created by fitting crowns to the teeth either side of the gap in your mouth and attaching a false tooth or teeth in the middle.

It may sound daunting but getting a bridge is a relatively simple procedure and can look very natural if fitted by an experienced dentist. A bridge will also stop your other teeth from moving and can guard against joint problems, tooth decay and the development of speech impediments. If you choose to have a bridge, your dentist will check the health of your gums and the teeth either side of the gap (the support teeth), to ensure that they are suitable for treatment and then take appropriate measures if they are not. An impression of your teeth (and the gap) is made so that our dental technicians can make an accurate model on which to build the bridge and your JHA dentist will discuss all your options with you .

You can keep your mouth healthy and your smile stunning with a well fitting and natural looking bridge.
