Dr Dermot McNulty

Dr Dermot McNulty, our lead clinician, is a lecturer and examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons Implant Diploma Courses in London and Course Director for the programme in Leeds. Dermot has been actively involved in implant dentistry since 1987, and has extensive experience of all the major implant systems.

He has pursued dental implant and restorative post-graduate education both in the United Kingdom and abroad. He was awarded the Diploma in Implantology from the Royal College of Surgeons and is continuing the MSc in Implant Dentistry at the University of London.

He qualified from Birmingham University in 1982 and in 2003 established a referral practice in Bath which is now part of the James Hull group and continues to be dedicated to excellence in restorative and implant dentistry.

He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology and a committee member from 1988 - 1992 and was elected Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 1997.

In 1995 he founded and was Chairman of the Bath and West Private Practitioners group until 2002.

He is also a member of the Prestigious British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry. Dermot is also a clinical director for James Hull Associates and a member of our clinical advisory board. His aim is to provide aesthetic and restorative dentistry of the highest standard.

Dr Georgios Lazaridis

Dr George Lazaridis qualified from the dental faculty of the University of Sofia with distinction in 1998. Upon qualifying, George was invited to work in a specialist prosthodontist practice where he developed an interest in restorative dentistry.

Over the years George's interest in implant and restorative dentistry has grown. In 2003 this brought him to England in order to further develop his skills and experience in the field and to attend a postgraduate programme. This programme provides him with a qualification in implant dentistry recognised by the General Dental Council.

George has now completed a masters degree in implant dentistry.

Dr Jason Hart

Full Member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry

Dr Jason Hart, BDS, is a Full Member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is a dentist with a specialist interest at James Hull Specialist Dental Care. Originally from South Wales, Jason graduated from Bristol Dental Hospital in 1995. After a period as a House Officer, working with cancer patients in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and Accident and Emergency, Jason went into practice in Swansea and completed his vocational training successfully. After moving to Redland, Jason worked for five years in a busy mixed private and NHS practice in Queens Road, at that time being invited to join the team at the Leckhampton Implant Centre in Cheltenham.

The clinic became part of James Hull Associates in 2002. Jason finally joined the team in Clifton at the beginning of 2006 and since then has increased his commitment and time at the clinic. Dr Hart has spent time studying implantology in Wolverhampton and Jersey with Stuart Harding, having successfully completed single implant, bridgework and prosthetic cases. Jason also has an accreditation of accomplishment in Maxillary Sinus Augmentation and he is a member of SAAD, allowing him to use sedation techniques to treat anxious and phobic patients.

Jason’s interests clinically embrace all aspects of modern cosmetic dentistry, implantology and surgery along with a firm commitment to preventive and conservative dentistry. Jason feels it is important to keep abreast of the changing face of dental developments worldwide by attending regular courses and updates. More recently, Jason has become the largest provider of Invisalign in the area, choosing to correct crooked teeth with the near invisible braces technique. Dr Hart has completed the prestigious Chris Orr advanced year-long course in cosmetic dentistry and aesthetic restorative dentistry. Jason says 'hopefully, gone are the days of the conveyor belt dentistry provided by an imposing and intimidating surgeon.

On The Outside Jason has a keen interest in classic and modern sports cars and spends some of his spare time tinkering and restoring his cars in his father's place of work in Penarth, South Wales.
