Dr Wendy Cole

Wendy graduated from Bristol University in 1990 and following vocational training has worked exclusively in general practices in Leeds, Huddersfield and Ripon. Wendy is responsible for providing surgical and non-surgical periodontal therapy for the treatment of periodontal disease, and surgical periodontal treatment in its relationship to cosmetic dentistry.

Wendy has formalised her interest in periodontics and gained a diploma in Clinical Periodontology in 2009 and is due to complete her MSc at the end of 2010. For many years Wendy has had a keen interest in treating anxious patients and provides sedation for advanced surgical procedures as well as general dentistry.

Dr Steve Byfield

Since graduating in 1981 the introduction of implant dentistry as a discipline has significantly enhanced my ability to meet patients ever-increasing expectations. There is no longer the need to compromise healthy teeth with fixed bridgework in order to provide patients with the confidence to eat and smile.

My Implant practicing philosophy since commencing implant dentistry in 1993 is to provide patients with high quality care in a relaxed and friendly environment. I place great emphasis on communication and creating informed treatment programs, which provide maximum benefit with the least intervention to achieve patient expectations.

My aim is to support general practitioners with implant provision which may be outside their practicing area of interest as an extension of their own clinic.

I can be contacted directly at the practice on 01423 565432 to discuss cases and as an open line of communication for referrals.

I routinely carry out all aspects of Implant dentistry, including Sinus Grafting, Block Grafting and Guided Bone Regeneration.

Dr Tim Doswell

BChD Dip.Imp. Dent. RCS (UK)(Adv Cert) GDC No. 71949

Dr. Tim Doswell qualified as a Dental Surgeon with Honours from Leeds University in 1996. His first job was in Huddersfield where he won the prize for Vocational Training in the Yorkshire region in 1997.

After four years as an associate, he set up Carlton House Dental Practice in Knaresborough which went onto win two Practice of the Year awards including James Hull Group Practice of the year in 2007. He now brings his expertise to the Raglan Suite for our referral patients.

He has trained and practiced extensively in the fields of restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry and takes referrals for advanced restorative cases including full mouth rehabilitation and the full repertoire of procedures involving implants. He is also trained in bone augmentation procedures such as Guided Bone Regeneration, intra-Oral block grafts, Sinus grafts and CT-guided surgery.

Dr Doswell is registered with the General Dental Council and is an active member of the Association of Dental Implantologists (ADI). He is a Clinical Coach for the Astra-Tech implant system and has lectured across the UK on this implant system including at the European Association of Osseointegration (EAO) conference in Glasgow in 2010.

He has been awarded an advanced diploma in implant dentistry by the Royal College Of Surgeons of London which is recognised by the GDC as the “gold standard” qualification in the field of implant dentistry.

He has a practicing philosophy of offering his patients as much choice as possible in terms of treatment options and delivering them in a friendly, relaxed manner to the very highest clinical standards.

Dr Antony Bellaries

GDC No. 73136

Antony Bellaries graduated from Newcastle University in 1997. After graduating he spent a number of years in general practice in the North East where he developed his special interest in endodontics.

He has attended thousands of hours of post-graduate education at home and overseas, and holds the certificate in endodontics qualification from the Eastman Dental Institute.

He is an active member of the British Society of Endodontology  and a keen advocate of evidence based dentistry. A memeber of the Ragaln Suite team for over five years his practice there is limited entirely to endodontics. His interests within endodontics lie in the fields of complex pain diagnosis and microsurgery.
 
Antony is happy to take referrals from simple endodontic treatment to complex retreatments, instrument removal and apical surgery.

Chris Egan

RDT, CDT RCS Eng. GDC No. 119949

Chris qualified in 1984 with a Diploma in Dental Technology, he has also recently gained a Diploma as a  Clinical Dental Technician.

Chris is  MD of the highly regarded family business Egan Dental Laboratory Ltd, where his outstanding ability and expertise in denture construction has allowed  him  to work  closely with some of the top surgeons  in the country.

For the last 20 years his passion and extensive knowledge in both clinical and technical  prosthetic construction, has enabled him to deal with both challenging and demanding patient referrals on a regular basis.

Chris is also a UK opinion leader for Ivoclar Vivodent and lectures in both clinical and technical prosthetics.

Dr Kimberly Taylor

Dr Taylor has always had a passion for aesthetics and realising her patient’s aspirations of individual beauty and inner confidence, whether it be via smile enhancement or facial rejuvenation and sculpting, is both her reward and motivation. Having qualified from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne with a Distinction in Clinical Dentistry in 2006 Dr Taylor has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in the field of Cosmetic Dentistry and Facial Aesthetics, including being one of the first dentists internationally to undertake a Masters Degree in Aesthetic Dentistry at Kings College London, in her first year being awarded the Aesthetic Dentistry Prize.

Dr Taylor also enjoys facilitating the entry of other medical and dental professionals into the field of Facial Aesthetics as a Clinical Instructor for both the internationally renowned Dr Bob Khanna Training Institute and the Royal College of Surgeons Aesthetic Masterclass. Dr Taylor is also a Council Member and Lecturer for The International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA), a charitable foundation aiming to advance the field of Facial Aesthetics and encourage the continued professional development of its members.

Dr Sandy Karnezi

BChD (Hons) MFDS RCS Eng MORTH MDent Sci. GDC No. 82179

Sandy first attained a scientific background by obtaining a BSc in Molecular Biology followed by a Masters in Biomedical Sciences Research from the University of London. This was followed by her Dental Surgery qualification with Hons from Leeds University in 2003.

Over the next five years she gained experience in general practice as well as working at the York District hospital in the Oral and Maxillo-facial Surgery department. Sandy became a member of the Fellowship of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2005.

In 2008 she was appointed Registrar in Orthodontics at the Leeds Dental Institute where she gained a Masters Degree in Dental Science. In 2011 she also attained the Membership of Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh and entered the specialist register in Orthodontics. Her interests are adult orthodontics, good food and her young family.
