Our Facilities

We have several technological marvels that help us to help you. When you come in for your consultation, you will have the opportunity to see your own teeth as we see them, thanks to a miniature video camera, or "tooth cam". This helps you to see potential problems that may be hidden from your normal view, and of course we can show you your "before and after" photographs.

Sterilisation

Adjoining the implant theatre is our hospital-standard sterilisation suite, which houses the latest design thermo-disinfector and vacuum autoclave. We adhere strictly to current infection control guidelines, and constantly monitor the performance of our equipment. The entire staff undergo regular training in all aspects of infection control, and we pride ourselves on our level of commitment.

Digital X-ray system

The next piece of equipment you are likely to encounter will be our fully digital X-Ray system. This does away with old-fashioned films and developing, and produces a picture of your tooth within seconds, on the computer monitor. As well as being fast, it only uses 10% of the radiation compared to a conventional X-Ray. We are also able to manipulate the image on-screen in order to best view the structures of interest.

Implant Theatre

At the heart of our practice is the dedicated implant theatre, a concept unique to dental practices that are prepared to make the major investment required to carry out implant dentistry under ideal conditions. This room has been planned, set up, and equipped to allow comfortable and efficient implant treatment, and represents a major benefit to you, the patient, as well as providing optimal working conditions for the implantologist.

CEREC

"CEREC" computer-generated ceramic fillings, crowns and veneers; the new CEREC unit in our practice can take an image of your tooth, and then create the perfect tooth-coloured filling or crown for you by milling it from a solid block of optimised ceramic. No impressions or temporary crowns are needed, and it's all done in one visit! The final restoration is a perfect fit, is as strong as a natural tooth, and virtually indistinguishable from the real thing.
